Using a macro lens, I captured efflorescence (which is a fancy word for salt deposits) on bricks. The salt layer up close like this creates the illusion of landscapes or objects.
Taken at a fireworks show on Crystal Lake in Illinois. I took 1 second exposures of the show every five seconds. This process captured some rather unique shapes and colors. I look forward to attempting this process again.
