July’s daily photo series has themes of summer, urban design, and pride. Several of the photo shoots took advantage of the warm summer nights, allowing for comfortable working conditions for some long exposure nighttime photography. Parades and street festivals are also heavily featured. The shooting locations this month were mostly in Chicago and the Chicago landscape is heavily expressed in this month’s series.
