Notes: Heavy, almost smokey oak flavor. Deep red fruit flavor. Tannin finish that goes on for miles. No minerality. A complex, full-bodied red with a lot of different notes when playing on the palette.
Pairings: Attempted to pair with ribeye chop – not the best pairing. Might work with a smoked cheese, Italian dishes that begin with affumicato, or BBQ. Would work well as a cigar lounge wine.
